OUR HISTORY

MAKSUD FOUNDATION LIMITED is an non-profit organization founded in 08th April 2022 in Blantyre Malawi.

Our organization was founded on Islamic values. It is with this fibre and heart that we continue to serve our country and our people without discrimination of race, religion, gender, political stance or any other form. We thank Allah for the privilege of our calling to serve our people.

From initially only providing lifesaving nutritional relief in one country, the organization has grown to deliver a variety of localized programme interventions in another two African countries — Zambia & Mozambique

VISION

"Empowering marginalized communities to reach their full potential, creating a more just and equitable society where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities."

OBJECTIVES:

1. Eradicate poverty in targeted communities by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities, education, and healthcare to all residents within the next 5 years.

2. Establish a network of community centers, providing comprehensive support services, including education, healthcare, and social welfare programs, to at least 100,000 poor people within the next 05 years.

3. Advocate for policy changes to address the root causes of poverty, ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities for all, within the next 5-7 years.

4. Empower at least 50,000 poor children to become self-sufficient, confident, and contributing members of society through comprehensive education and support programs within the next 10 years.

5. Increase the number of poor families with access to clean water and sanitation by 30% within the next 40 months.

6. Offer educational support to 600 poor children, including tuition fees, books, and uniforms, in the next 18 months.

7. Train 50 poor women in vocational skills, enabling them to start their own businesses within the next 06 months.

8. Provide food and shelter to at least 10000 poor families in the next 36 months.

OUR GOAL

1. Provide emergency food and shelter to 500 poor families and 200 orphan children.

2. Establish a free healthcare clinic for poor people and orphan children, serving at least 1000 patients per year.

3. Offer educational support to 300 orphan children, including tuition fees, books, and uniforms.

4. Train 100 poor women in vocational skills, enabling them to start their own businesses.

5. Build a safe and nurturing orphanage for 50 children.

6. Increase access to clean water and sanitation for 2000 poor families.

7. Reduce the dropout rate of orphan children from schools by 50% through targeted educational support programs.
